The new station building was completed in late summer 2016 as part of the Mälar Line capacity expansion. Timber cladding inside and outside is a defining feature of the new building. [2] [1]
Järfälla Municipality describes the Mälar Line as the backbone of public transport and Kallhäll as one of the municipality's three commuter stations with a bus terminal. [3]
The preserved Bolinders buildings are by Lake Mälaren, a 5–10 minute walk from Kallhäll station. From the footbridge, follow the path past the former workers' houses towards Fabriksvägen. [4]
