The pedestrian tunnel links the travel centre and Bålsta town centre. Roger Fällman’s nature images depict different seasons, making the route recognisable as you walk onwards. [1]
Beside the bus square, Jonas Henriksson’s artwork uses suitcases and a sardine tin inspired by Lasse Åberg’s films. The pieces also function as tables and chairs. [1]
Håbo Municipality states that Bålsta travel centre serves both SL commuter trains and regional trains, while Trafikverket places the station on the Mälaren Line towards Enköping and Västerås. [2] [3]
