About the service

Tågradar

Free live information about trains in Sweden, for everyone travelling by rail.

What is Tågradar?

Tågradar is a free website that presents live information about rail services in Sweden. The data comes directly from the Swedish Transport Administration's open API and is displayed in an easy-to-understand format.

The service is for commuters, travellers and anyone curious about Sweden's railways, without a complicated app or paid subscription.

Known limitations

Some routes may be drawn incorrectly, and arrival or departure information for a selected train may occasionally be inaccurate. Trains update when new data from the Swedish Transport Administration becomes available, usually about every 5–15 seconds.

This is an independently developed hobby project. The site currently shows passenger trains only.

Data sources

All train data comes from the Swedish Transport Administration's open API which provides live information about train positions, delays and rail disruptions.

Tågradar is not affiliated with the Swedish Transport Administration or any train operator. It is an independent service using publicly available data.

Who runs Tågradar and how do we work?

Tågradar is an independent hobby project. Its purpose is to make Swedish train times, positions and disruptions easier to understand. Questions about the website and its content can be sent through the contact page.

Traffic information comes from Swedish Transport Administration open data. Station guides are separate from live information and include references so you can check the facts. Missing information is not filled with guessed times or positions. Read more about sources, freshness and corrections.
