An approximately 2-kilometre walking route leads from the station through Frönäs to Frustuna church. It offers lake views after the train journey; the area also includes the old engine shed with arts and crafts. [1]

Adolf Wilhelm Edelsvärd's station building became the model known as the Gnesta type. In 1907 it was remodelled and incorporated into a larger brick building designed by Folke Zettervall. Today's listed building therefore contains parts of the earlier station. [3]
