Floda connects commuter rail with walks beside the Säveån and through the historic landscape of Skallsjöleden. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Skallsjöleden can be started at Floda station and followed towards Stenkullen via Skallsjö heritage centre. The trail partly follows the Säveån and includes hills and wooden boardwalks. [1]
After Floda towards Norsesund, the railway follows the elongated Lake Sävelången. The lake is on the right in this direction, after the short Ubbared tunnels. [2]
Trafikverket's station material describes platforms for trains towards Gothenburg and Alingsås respectively. Check the direction before going to the platform. [3]
Pedestrian and cycle passages beneath the railway connect the station area and neighbourhoods on both sides of the tracks. Follow signs to the correct passage and platform. [4]
