Rosersberg is the commuter rail stop for a walk onwards to Rosersberg Palace and the shore of Lake Mälaren. [1] [2] [3] [4]
The Royal Palaces gives a walk of about 2 km from Rosersberg station to Rosersberg Palace. Follow the foot and cycle path along Slottsvägen and allow for the walk when booking a guided visit. [1]
Rosersberg Palace was built by the Oxenstierna family in the 1630s and became royal in 1762. Karl XIV Johan and Queen Desideria were its last royal residents. This is the historic setting reached on the walk from the station. [2]
Sigtuna Municipality states that Rosersberg commuter station has trains towards Märsta and central Stockholm. SL's rail map shows its position on the Märsta branch. [3] [4]
