Malmö Arena stands on Hyllie Stationstorg beside the station. For taxi or assisted transport pick-up, the arena specifies Arenagatan 17, a different access point from the station platforms. [1]
Hyllie's platforms lie in an open cutting despite the station's connection with Citytunneln. Routes towards the Öresund Bridge, Ystad and Trelleborg meet the route through the tunnel towards central Malmö here. [2]
The City of Malmö says the Citytunnel gives Hyllie strong rail connections, including trains towards Copenhagen Airport. [3]
